What we are about.
We are a slow run club for people who don't like running.
There are no egos here. And we are big on making the 'new girl' feel welcome.
We do not dictate, we encourage from the back.

We have the aim of building everyone up to a 5km at some point in the future - but there is no rush and every time we meet we set off with some people running 5km, others walking 30 seconds running 30 seconds and everything in between. We even have people on their own programs just coming to run amongst other people, to feel safe or to feel connected. Maybe just to make the time pass quicker!

We run a 1km loop and build on it so you are never too far away from base.

We are a group of women who want to be fitter. But we are not in a rush. Not with intense urgency. At a gentle pace. That we don't get to enjoy day to day, hour to hour.

The pace is our peace.

When and where?
Tuesday Evenings
Beech Tree Carpark, Kirk Ella
7pm meet for a warm up but don't leave until 7:15pm

The run is a 1km loop so you can do it 1-5 times depending on how far you want to run. There is a continuous slow pace run group (around a 7 minute kilometer), and a run/walk group. Other people on their own programs just do what the hell they like!

Wednesday mornings
Outside Flour & Feast, Humber Street
9.15am meet (I'm usually late) for a warm up but don't leave until 9.30am
